We have been doing a Cousin Camp every Wednesday this Summer to get all the Cousin together to get to know each other and too just have some fun. Each camp had a different theme, the most recent Camp was "Paint Gone Wild" Where we got to play in the different types of ways to paint.
We Used a old white sheet and hung it up as a canvas, then got spray bottles and Tampa paint. We watered down the paint and let them at it. then we used bowls and had them use their hands for the splatter look.

We did Marble Art with a bucket, heavy weight water paint paper from the Dollar store, 5-6 marbles (too many marbles and it gets muddy) Drop at least 3 different colors of paint drops, the size of quarters, in different parts of the paper and have the kids roll the marbles around. It makes a amazing picture of lines and color spots. |

Finger paint is always a must in a painting party!! |
|
Different sizes and shapes of sponges and rollers help the imagination as well!

Foil Painting was a huge hit! We rolled tin foil out and used painters tape to hold it down. Then we put different drops of paint on random spots and let the kids use paint brushes and rollers to create a master piece!

Foot/Toe Art was fun! We laid out a sheet on the driveway, got three different colors and buckets and watered down the paint just a little. the kids stepped in the bucket and then walked all over the sheet. It was just like using your hand paints but funnier! |
|
We also did rock art. Grab some rocks from the garden and used crayons to color all over it. then we placed them on a cookie sheet and cooked them for 3-5 min on 225 degrees. the crayons melted and when they were cooled off we glued goggle eyes on them...our pet rocks! |
